A fire control mechanism provides semi-automatic, burst, fully automatic,
and safe modes for a firearm. The fire control mechanism includes first,
second and third shafts. A hammer is rotatably mounted on the first shaft
and biased for rotation about the first shaft in a first direction. An
auto sear is mounted on the second shaft and engageable with the hammer.
A semi disconnect is mounted on the second shaft and engageable with the
hammer. A primary sear is mounted on the third shaft and engageable with
the hammer.
