A novel transaction-enabling method and system are disclosed, wherein a
transaction-enabling Java-Applet is embedded within an HTML-encoded
document stored in an HTTP server at predetermined URL. When a code symbol
(e.g., magstripe or bar code) encoded with the URL is read using a code
symbol reader interfaced with a Java-enabled Internet terminal, the
corresponding HTTP document is automatically accessed and displayed at the
terminal, and the transaction-enabling Java-Applet initiated for execution
so that the customer, consumer or client desiring the transaction can
simply and conveniently conduct the information-related transaction over
the Internet. The transaction-enabling Internet terminal can be in the
form of an Internet kiosk installed in a public location, in the manner as
conventional ATMs. By virtue of the present invention, universal
transaction machine (UTMs) can be easily deployed for use by the mass
population so that they can easily conduct various types of transaction
over the Internet.
Eine Verhandlung-ermöglichende Methode und ein System des Romans werden freigegeben, worin ein Verhandlung-ermöglichender Java-Applet innerhalb eines HTML-KODIERTEN Dokumentes eingebettet wird, das in einem HTTP Bediener an vorbestimmtem URL gespeichert wird. Wenn ein Codesymbol (z.B., magstripe oder Strichkode) kodiert mit dem URL mit einem Codesymbolleser gelesen wird, der an einen Java-ermöglichten Internet-Anschluß angeschlossen wird, wird das entsprechende HTTP Dokument automatisch am Anschluß und am Verhandlung-ermöglichenden Java-Applet, der für Durchführung eingeleitet wird erreicht und angezeigt, damit der Kunde, der Verbraucher oder der Klient, welche die Verhandlung wünschen, kann die Information-in Verbindung stehende Verhandlung über dem Internet einfach und bequem leiten. Der Verhandlung-ermöglichende Internet-Anschluß kann in Form eines Internet-Kiosks sein, der in eine allgemeine Position, in der Weise als herkömmliches ATMs angebracht wird. Aufgrund der anwesenden Erfindung kann Universalverhandlungmaschine (UTMs) für Gebrauch von der Massenbevölkerung leicht entfaltet werden, damit sie verschiedene Arten der Verhandlung über dem Internet leicht leiten können.
