A hair growth stimulant comprising p-menthane-3,8-diol and at least one substance from the group of a blood circulation promoter, a 5.alpha.-reductase inhibitor, an antihistaminic, a cell activator, an antiphlogistic and an antimicrobial is disclosed. The hair growth stimulant is free from hormonal action, does not cause side effects and has excellent hair growth promoting effects.
