An auto-cruise controller to control the throttle angle of an engine so
that the actual vehicle speed is equal to the target vehicle speed. In the
controller, the pressure control of a lock-up clutch of an automatic
transmission is conducted based on an amount of control of the lock-up
pressure calculated corresponding to the traveling conditions of the
vehicle when the throttle is fully closed, and when the vehicle is
descending a slope during the auto-cruise control.
