A compound which is a 6-substituted seco indoline of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein: X is halogen or OSO.sub.2 R where R represents H or C.sub.1-5 alkyl optionally substituted with from 1 to 4 hydroxyl, acid (COOH) or amino groups which amino may be optionally substituted by one or two C.sub.1-5 alkyl groups; Y is N0.sub.2, N.sub.3, NHOH, NHR, NRR, N.dbd.NR, N(O)RR, SR or SSR, where R is defined as above, but that in the case where Y is SSR or N.dbd.NR, then R can also be another moiety of formula (I); or Y is a group of formula: ##STR2##

Un compuesto que es un indoline del seco 6-substituted del fórmula (i): ## del ## STR1 en donde: X es el halógeno u OSO.sub.2 R donde R representa el alkyl H o C.sub.1-5 substituido opcionalmente con a partir de la 1 a los grupos de 4 oxhidrilo, ácido (COOH) o amino a que amino puede ser substituido opcionalmente por un o dos grupos alkyl C.sub.1-5; Y está N0.sub.2, N.sub.3, NHOH, NHR, NRR, N.dbd.NR, N(O)RR, SR o SSR, donde R se define como arriba, solamente ése en el caso donde está SSR o N.dbd.NR Y, después R puede también ser otro moiety del fórmula (i); o Y es un grupo del fórmula: ## del ## STR2
