The present invention relates to a radio phone composed of separate modules, comprising a basic module (1) and at least one additional module (2 or 3) detachably plugged thereto. The basic module (1) comprises at least the components and functions which are common to phones operating both in analogue and digital mode. The additional module (2 or 3) includes the main part of the electrical circuits required in transmitting and receiving an analogue or a digital signal. The phone operates as a single-mode phone when one of the additional modules (2 or 3) is plugged into the basic module (1), and as a dual-mode phone when both the first additional module (2) and the second additional module (3) have been plugged into the basic module (1).

Die anwesende Erfindung bezieht auf einem Radiotelefon, das aus unterschiedlichen Modulen besteht und enthält einen Grundbaustein (1) und mindestens ein zusätzliches Modul (2 oder 3) detachably dazu verstopft. Der Grundbaustein (1) enthält mindestens die Bestandteile und die Funktionen, die für die Telefone allgemein sind, die beide im analogen und digitalen Modus laufen lassen. Das zusätzliche Modul (2 oder 3) schließt das Hauptteil der elektrischen Stromkreise ein, die wenn sie ein analoges oder digitales Signal erfordert werden, übertragen und empfangen. Das Telefon funktioniert als single-mode Telefon wenn eins der zusätzlichen Module (2 oder 3) wird in den Grundbaustein (1) und als Doppel-Modus Telefon verstopft, wenn das erste zusätzliche Modul (2) und das zweite zusätzliche Modul (3) in den Grundbaustein (1) verstopft worden sind.
