A relationship between a tristimulus value (Y) of a white color synthesized by the color elements and an area (S) for a triangle formed by connecting the xy chromaticity in the standard C light source of the above color elements each obtained based on a XYZ color system with a 2.degree. visual field (JIS Z8701) meets the condition of Y.gtoreq.-255*S+54.
