Cyclic peptides comprising three colinear amino acids, arginine-lysine-lysine (RKK) are provided that bind to the integrin .alpha.2I domain and are potent inhibitors of its interaction with collagens I and IV and laminin-1. Methods of using such peptides to block integrin function and to inhibit cell migration are also provided.

Les peptides cycliques comportant trois acides aminés colinéaires, l'arginine-lysine-lysine (RKK) sont à condition que grippage au domaine d'alpha.2I d'integrin et sont les inhibiteurs efficaces de son interaction avec des collagens I et IV et laminin-1. Des méthodes d'employer de tels peptides pour bloquer la fonction d'integrin et pour empêcher la migration de cellules sont également fournies.
