The invention relates to cosmetic compositions containing agglomerates with particular particle sizes. The compositions are characterized in that they contain spherical non-porous SiO2 particles with a particle size of 0.05-1.5 .mu.m, and other inorganic particle-shaped materials with spherical structure. The spherical SiO.sub.2 and other inorganic materials form defined agglomerates with a particle size of 0.06 .mu.m to 5 .mu.m. The proportion of agglomerates in the cosmetic composition is between 0.1 and 30% wt. The aggregate-containing dispersions are produced by introducing the spherical SiO.sub.2 step by step and in special conditions. Formulations produced with these aggregates are characterized by particularly stable and high sunscreen factors.

L'invention concerne les compositions cosmétiques contenant des agglomérés avec des dimensions particulaires particulières. Les compositions sont caractérisées du fait elles contiennent les particules SiO2 non poreuses sphériques avec une dimension particulaire de 0.05-1.5 mu.m, et d'autres matériaux particule-formés inorganiques avec la structure sphérique. Les SiO.sub.2 sphériques et d'autres matériaux inorganiques forment les agglomérés définis avec une dimension particulaire de 0.06 mu.m au mu.m 5. La proportion d'agglomérés dans la composition cosmétique est entre le poids de 0.1 et de 30%. Les dispersions agrégat-contenantes sont produites en présentant le SiO.sub.2 sphérique point par point et en conditions spéciales. Les formulations ont produit avec ces agrégats sont caractérisées par des facteurs particulièrement stables et élevés de protection solaire.
