Provided are a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having MFR of from 0.01
to 1.0 g/10 min and comprised of (A) from 85 to 97% by weight a 25.degree.
C. xylene-insoluble fraction and (B) from 3 to 15% by weight of a
25.degree. C. xylene-soluble fraction, wherein the fraction (A) is such
that its stereospecificity index measured through .sup.13 C-NMR is at
least 98.0%, its intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] falls between 2.5 and 5.5
dl/g, and its weight-average molecular weight, Mw, measured through GPC
and the content, S, of the fraction having a molecular weight of at most
10.sup.4.5 therein satisfy S (wt. %).ltoreq.-5.3.times.10.sup.-6 Mw+7.58,
and the fraction (B) is such that its ethylene unit content measured
through .sup.13 C-NMR falls between 30 and 70% by weight, and its
intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] falls between 2.5 and 9.0 dl/g; and its
blow-molded articles. The copolymer has good heat resistance, high
rigidity, good impact resistance and good drawdown resistance, and its
blow-molded articles have well-balanced rigidity and low-temperature
barrier resistance.
Vorausgesetzt ein Propylen-Äthylen Blockcopolymer sind, das MFR von von 0.01 bis 1.0 g/10 Minute und von (a) von 85 bis 97% nach Gewicht ein 25.degree enthalten hat. C. Xylen-unlöslicher Bruch und (b) von 3 bis 15% nach Gewicht eines 25.degree. C. Xylen-löslicher Bruch, worin der Bruch (a) so ist, daß sein stereospecificity Index, der durch sup.13 C-NMR gemessen wird, 98.0% mindestens ist, seine Grenzviskosität [ eta. ] Fälle zwischen 2.5 und 5.5 dl/g und sein Gewicht-durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht, Mw, gemessen durch GPC und den Inhalt, S, des Bruches, der ein Molekulargewicht von höchstens 10.sup.4.5 erfüllen hat darin, S (Gew. %).ltoreq.-5.3.times.10.sup.-6 Mw+7.58 und den Bruch (b) ist so, daß sein Äthylenmaßeinheit Inhalt durch sup.13 C-NMR Fälle zwischen 30 und 70% nach Gewicht maß, und seine Grenzviskosität [ eta. ] Fälle zwischen 2.5 und 9.0 dl/g; und seine durchbrennen-geformten Artikel. Das Copolymer hat gute Hitzebeständigkeit, hohe Starrheit, gute Schlagbiegefestigkeit und guten Drawdownwiderstand, und seine durchbrennen-geformten Artikel haben gut-ausgeglichene Starrheit und niedrigtemperatursperre Widerstand.
