Rinse-off liquid personal cleansing compositions comprise from about 1% to about 60% by weight of a water-soluble surfactant, and 0.5% or greater of a water-soluble oil selected from type (b) having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sup.4 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sup.2 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkenyl, and R.sup.3 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkenyl, n is an integer from 0 to 3 and m is an integer of from 1 to 1000, the water-insoluble oil having a number average molecular weight of from about 600 to 1000.
