The compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein the symbols R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represent, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 lower alkyl radical, are advantageous as perfuming ingredients for the preparation of perfuming compositions and perfumed articles, to which they impart odoriferous notes of the lily of the valley type.
