A method is disclosed for use in a software development system having a repository, wherein the method uses an object-oriented tool to capture models from and populate models in the repository. The method includes the steps of importing a first software model from the repository into the object-oriented tool; disposing the imported first software model in the object-oriented tool for development by a user a second software model based upon the first software model; and, exporting the second software model to the repository.

Un metodo è rilevato per uso in un sistema di sviluppo del software che ha un deposito, in cui il metodo utilizza un attrezzo orientato oggettivamente ai modelli di bloccaggio da e popola i modelli nel deposito. Il metodo include i punti di importazione del primo modello del software dal deposito nell'attrezzo orientato oggettivamente; disponendo del primo modello importato del software nell'attrezzo orientato oggettivamente per sviluppo da un utente un secondo modello del software basato sul primo modello del software; e, esportando il secondo modello del software verso il deposito.
