Asymmetrical bisbenzotriazoles of the formula I ##STR1## where G.sub.2 ' is perfluoroalkyl of 1 to 12 carbon atoms, preferably CF.sub.3, and where G.sub.2 does not contain said group are red-shifted and due to the asymmetry are particularly soluble and useful in a host of applications including automotive coatings, thermoplastics and especially in adhesive compositions, themselves useful in solar panels and other laminate structures.

Asymetrische bisbenzotriazoles des Formel I ## STR1 ##, in dem G.sub.2 ' perfluoroalkyl von 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, vorzugsweise CF.sub.3 ist, und wo G.sub.2 nicht besagte Gruppe sind rot-verschoben enthält und wegen der Asymmetrie seien Sie in einem Wirt von Anwendungen einschließlich Automobilschichten, Thermoplastikee und besonders im anhaftenden Aufbau besonders löslich und nützlich, selbst nützlich in den Solarverkleidungen und des anderen lamellieren Strukturen.
