A (2-substituted oxyphenyl)alkanamide derivative or a salt thereof
expressed by the following Formula (I):

wherein one of A and B is a hydrocarbon group of C.sub.3-30 expressed by
R.sup.1 and the other is --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 ; Z is
--CO-- or --CONR.sup.6 --; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 individually represent H,
lower alkyl or benzyl, or --NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 may be a heterocycle having
3-7 members; wherein --CONR.sup.5 --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 or
--CONR.sup.6 --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 may be the following
Group (D):

wherein ring Y is a heterocycle of 6 or 7 members; R.sup.4 is selected from
the group consisting of H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower acyl and etc;
R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are individually H, lower alkyl, lower acyl or lower
alkylcarbamoyl, or may form a part of said Group(II); 1 is 0 or 1; m is 1
or 2; and n is an integer of 0-5. The (2-substituted oxyphenyl)alkanamide
derivative or the salt thereof has excellent hair growth and regrowth
promoting effects, which are useful for care, improvement or prevention of
hair loss in mammals and, in particular, in human.
A (derivative do oxyphenyl)alkanamide 2-substituted ou um sal expressado disso pela seguinte fórmula (i): ## do ## STR1 wherein um de A e de B é um grupo do hidrocarboneto de C.sub.3-30 expressado por R.sup.1 e outro é -- (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- NR.sup.2 R.sup.3; Z é --CO -- ou -- CONR.sup.6 o --; R.sup.2 e R.sup.3 representa individualmente H, um alkyl ou benzyl mais baixo, ou -- NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 pode ser um heterocycle que tem 3-7 membros; wherein -- CONR.sup.5 -- (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 ou -- CONR.sup.6 -- (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- NR.sup.2 R.sup.3 pode ser o seguinte grupo (d): ## do ## STR2 wherein o anel Y é um heterocycle de 6 ou 7 membros; R.sup.4 é selecionado do grupo que consiste em H, em halogênio, em um alkyl mais baixo, em um acyl mais baixo e etc.; R.sup.5 e R.sup.6 são individualmente H, um alkyl mais baixo, um acyl mais baixo ou um alkylcarbamoyl mais baixo, ou podem dão forma a uma parte de Group(II) dito; 1 é 0 ou 1; m é 1 ou 2; e n é um inteiro de 0-5. (o derivative do oxyphenyl)alkanamide 2-substituted ou o sal têm disso o crescimento excelente e o regrowth do cabelo que promovem os efeitos, que são úteis para o cuidado, a melhoria ou a prevenção da perda do cabelo nos mamíferos e, no detalhe, no ser humano.
