A composition containing a continuous aqueous phase comprising L-2-oxothiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid, at least one sequestering agent and at least one neutralizing agent, the said neutralizing agent being present in an amount which is sufficient to adjust the pH of the aqueous phase of the composition to a value of between 5 and 8. The combination of the sequestering agent and the neutralizing agent stabilizes the L-2-oxothiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid, in particular with respect to thermal degradation, and thus prevents yellowing of the composition and the formation of unpleasant odors.

Ein Aufbau, der eine ununterbrochene wäßrige Phase enthält L-2-oxothiazolidine-4-carboxylic Säure, mindestens ein absonderndes Vertreter und mindestens ein neutralisierendes Mittel, das besagte neutralisierende Mittel ist anwesend in einer Menge enthält, die genügend ist, den pH der wäßrigen Phase des Aufbaus auf einen Wert zwischen von 5 und von 8 zu justieren. Die Kombination des absondernden Vertreters und des neutralisierenden Mittels stabilisiert die L-2-oxothiazolidine-4-carboxylic Säure, insbesondere in Bezug auf thermische Verminderung und verhindert folglich das Gelb färben des Aufbaus und die Anordnung der unangenehmen Gerüche.
