Objects of the present invention are compounds of a peptido-mimetic character having the capacity of acting as inhibitors of metalloproteinases produced by venom of snake, and of other metalloproteinases of human origin which have been put in relation with various pathologies in man, including tumoral growth and metastatization, aterosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, osteoporosis, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. Object of the present invention is also the procedure for the production of diethylester of (1)-phosphotryptophan, as an initial product necessary to synthesize all compounds mentioned above.

De doelen van de onderhavige uitvinding zijn samenstellingen van een peptido-mimetic karakter dat de capaciteit van acteren als inhibitors van metalloproteinases heeft die door vergift van slang, en van andere metalloproteinases van menselijke oorsprong wordt geproduceerd die in relatie met diverse pathologie bij de mens, met inbegrip van tumoral groei en metastatization, aterosclerosis, multiple sclerose, de ziekte van Alzheimer, osteoporose, hypertensie, reumatoïde artritis en andere ontstekingsziekten zijn gezet. Het doel van de onderhavige uitvinding is ook de procedure voor de productie van diethylester van (1)-phosphotryptophan, als eerste product noodzakelijk om alle hierboven vermelde samenstellingen samen te stellen.
