The invention is related to the development of a new and distinct geranium plant called e `Narmada` yeilding perfumery oil having higher content of rhodinol, total alcohol and high citronellol/geraniol ratio and lower content of undesirable isomenthone and 10-epi-.gamma.-eudesmol.

Die Erfindung hängt mit der Entwicklung eines neuen und eindeutigen Pelargoniebetriebes zusammen, der e ` Narmada` das yeilding Parfümerieöl angerufen wird, das höheren Inhalt von rhodinol, von Gesamtspiritus und von hohem citronellol/geraniol Verhältnis- und unterereminhalt des nicht wünschenswerten isomenthone und des 10-epi-.gamma.-eudesmol hat.
