The invention relates to a process for the preparation of amines by hydrogenation of nitro compounds, which comprises carrying out the hydrogenation in a vertical reactor whose length is greater than its diameter, having a downward-facing jet nozzle arranged in the upper region of the reactor through which the starting materials and the reaction mixture are fed in, and having an outlet at any desired point of the reactor, through which the reaction mixture is fed back to the jet nozzle in an external circuit by means of a conveying means, and having flow reversal in the lower region of the reactor.

A invenção relaciona-se a um processo para a preparação dos amines pelo hydrogenation dos compostos nitro, que compreende realizar o hydrogenation em um reator vertical cujo o comprimento seja mais grande do que seu diâmetro, tendo um bocal de jato downward-facing arranjado na região superior do reator através de que os materiais começar e a mistura de reação são alimentados dentro, e tendo uma tomada em algum ponto desejado do reator, através de que a mistura de reação é sida realimentada ao bocal de jato em um circuito externo por meio do meios fazendo saber, e tendo a reversão do fluxo na região mais baixa do reator.
