The process for producing polymer blends by reacting at least one aminonitrile with water in the presence of thermoplastic polymers and optionally further polyamide-forming monomers comprises the following steps: (1) reacting at least one aminonitrile with water at a temperature from 90 to 400.degree. C. and a pressure from 0.1 to 35.times.10.sup.6 Pa to obtain a reaction mixture, (2) further reacting the reaction mixture at a temperature from 150 to 400.degree. C. and a pressure which is lower than the pressure in step 1, the temperature and pressure being selected so as to obtain a first gas phase and a first liquid or a first solid phase or a mixture of first solid and first liquid phase and the first gas phase is separated from the first liquid or the first solid phase or the mixture of first liquid and first solid phase, and (3) admixing the first liquid or the first solid phase or the mixture of first liquid and first solid phase with a gaseous or liquid phase comprising water, which phase may contain thermoplastic polymers and optionally further polyamide-forming monomers, at a temperature from 150 to 370.degree. C. and a pressure from 0.1 to 30.times.10.sup.6 Pa to obtain the polymer blend, wherein in one or more of the steps the thermoplastic polymers and optionally further polyamide-forming monomers are added.

Il procedimento per produrre il polimero si mescola reagendo almeno uno aminonitrile con acqua in presenza dei polimeri termoplastici e facoltativamente più ulteriormente poliammide-formare i monomeri contiene i seguenti punti: (1) reagendo almeno uno aminonitrile con acqua ad una temperatura da 90 a 400.degree. C. e una pressione da 0.1 a PA 35.times.10.sup.6 ottenere una miscela di reazione, (2) ulteriore reagendo la miscela di reazione ad una temperatura da 150 a 400.degree. C. e una pressione che è più bassa di la pressione a punto 1, la temperatura e pressione che sono selezionate in modo da ottenere una prima fase gassosa e un primo liquido o una prima fase solida o una miscela della prima fase liquida solida e prima e della prima fase gassosa è separato dal primo liquido o la prima fase solida o la miscela di primo liquido e prima fase solida e (3) mescolando il primo liquido o la prima fase solida o la miscela di primo liquido e della prima fase solida con una fase gassosa o liquida che contiene acqua, che la fase può contenere i polimeri termoplastici e facoltativamente avanzare poliammide-formare i monomeri, ad una temperatura da 150 a 370.degree. Il C. e una pressione da 0.1 a PA 30.times.10.sup.6 ottenere la miscela del polimero, in cui in uno o più dei punti i polimeri termoplastici e facoltativamente avanzano poliammide-formare i monomeri sono aggiunti.
