The invention concerns novel ionic compounds with low melting point whereof the onium type cation having at least a heteroatom such as N, O, S or P bearing the positive charge and whereof the anion includes, wholly or partially, at least an ion imidide such as (FX.sup.1 O)N.sup.- (OX.sup.2 F) wherein X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are identical or different and comprise SO or PF, and their use as solvent in electrochemical devices. Said composition comprises a salt wherein the anionic charge is delocalized, and can be used, inter alia, as electrolyte.

Die Erfindung betrifft Romanionenmittel mit niedrigem Schmelzpunkt wovon die onium Art das Kation, das mindestens ein heteroatom wie N, O, S hat, oder P, welches die positive Aufladung und wovon das Anion trägt, schließt, insgesamt oder teilweise, mindestens ein Ionimidide wie ein (FX.sup.1 O)N.sup. - (OX.sup.2 F), worin X.sup.1 und X.sup.2 identisch oder unterschiedlich sind und SO oder Leistungsfaktor und ihr Gebrauch als Lösungsmittel in den elektrochemischen Vorrichtungen enthalten. Besagter Aufbau enthält ein Salz, worin die anionische Aufladung delocalized und kann unter anderem als Elektrolyt verwendet werden ist.
