A toner composition comprised of binder, colorant, and a surface additive of a coated silica and wherein said silica possesses a BET surface area, in m.sup.2 /g of from about 35 to about 65, a bulk density, in grams/liter, of from about 40 to about 60, and and wherein the size diameter determined from the BET measurement is from about 20 to about 100 nanometers.

Ein Toneraufbau enthalten von der Mappe, vom Farbstoff und von einem Oberflächenzusatz in eines überzogenen Silikons und worin besagtes Silikon eine WETTE Fläche besitzt, in des m.sup.2 /g von von ungefähr 35 bis ungefähr 65, eine Schüttdichte, in grams/liter, von von ungefähr 40 bis ungefähr 60 und und worin der Größe Durchmesser, der vom WETTE Maß festgestellt wird, von ungefähr 20 zu ungefähr 100 Nanometern ist.
