A muffler and method of making a muffler is disclosed wherein the muffler is formed from a single sheet showing four portions separated by three folds lines and wherein the two center portions are formed with tube outlines such that when the center portions are folded 180.degree., the tube outlines on the center portions abut to provide an exhaust path and wherein the two outer portions are folded over one of the center portions respectively to define two chambers surrounding the tubes and wherein end caps are provided to enclose the chambers.
