Antisense oligonucleotides are provided which are complementary to at least a portion of HCV RNA and specifically hybridizable therewith. These oligonucleotides can be administered to inhibit the replication of Hepatitis C virus in vivo or in vitro and to treat Hepatitis C virus-associated disease. These compounds can be used either prophylactically or therapeutically to reduce the severity of diseases associated with Hepatitis C virus.

I oligonucleotides di Antisense sono forniti che sono complementari almeno ad una parte del RNA di HCV e specificamente hybridizable di conseguenza. Questi oligonucleotides possono essere amministrati per inibire la replica del virus di epatite C in vivo o in vitro e per trattare la malattia virus-collegata di epatite C. Questi residui possono essere usati prophylactically o ridurre dal punto di vista terapeutico la severità delle malattie connesse con il virus di epatite C.
