This invention provides a compound of the formula (I):

or the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof wherein
A is independently halo; Y.sup.1 is --(CH.sub.2).sub.m --, C(O) or S(O);
Y.sup.2 is N or CH;
R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently C.sub.1-4 alkyl;
R.sup.3 is selected from the following:
(a) optionally substituted --(CH.sub.2).sub.p --C.sub.3-7 cycloalkyl;
(b) optionally substituted --C.sub.5-7 alkyl; and
(c) substituted --C.sub.1-4 alkyl; and
(d) optionally substituted C.sub.7-9 bicycloalkyl;
R.sup.4 is optionally substituted thiazolyl, imidazolyl or oxazolyl; X is
S, --NH, --N--C.sub.1-4 alkyl or O;
R.sup.5 is hydrogen or C.sub.1-4 alkyl; R.sup.6 is C.sub.1-4 alkyl or halo;
m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or S; and p is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
These compounds are useful for the treatment of medical conditions caused
by bradykinin such as inflammation, cardiovascular disease, pain, etc.
This invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising the
above compound.
Esta invención proporciona un compuesto del fórmula (i): ## del ## STR1 o las sales farmacéutico aceptables de eso en donde A es independientemente halo; Y.sup.1 es -- (CH.sub.2).sub.m --. C(O) o S(O); Y.sup.2 es N o CH; R.sup.1 y R.sup.2 son independientemente el alkyl C.sub.1-4; R.sup.3 se selecciona del siguiente: (a) -- (CH.sub.2).sub.p -- cycloalkyl opcionalmente substituido C.sub.3-7; (b) substituido opcionalmente -- alkyl C.sub.5-7; y (c) substituido -- alkyl C.sub.1-4; y (d) bicycloalkyl opcionalmente substituido C.sub.7-9; R.sup.4 es opcionalmente thiazolyl, imidazolyl u oxazolyl substituido; X es S, alkyl --NH, -- N -- C.sub.1-4 u O; R.sup.5 es hidrógeno o el alkyl C.sub.1-4; R.sup.6 es el alkyl C.sub.1-4 o halo; m es 0, 1 o 2; n es 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 o S; y p es 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 o 6. Estos compuestos son útiles para el tratamiento de las condiciones médicas causadas por el bradykinin tal como inflamación, enfermedad cardiovascular, dolor, etc. Esta invención también proporciona una composición farmacéutica que abarca el compuesto antedicho.
