Sunscreen combinations which comprise A) effective amounts of a compound of formula I ##STR1## and B) effective amounts of one or more compounds selected from a group consisting of: zinc oxide, titanium oxide and the compounds of formulae II to XVI which are specified in the description, are suitable as photostable UV filters in cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions for protecting human skin or human hair against solar rays. The combinations are optionally used together with other conventional UV absorbing ingredients which are known per se for cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions.

Combinaciones de Sunscreen que abarcan A) cantidades eficaces de un compuesto del ## del ## STR1 del fórmula I y B) cantidades eficaces de unos o más compuestos seleccionados de consistir en el grupo: cubra con cinc el óxido, óxido titanium y los compuestos de los fórmulas II a XVI que se especifican en la descripción, son convenientes como filtros UV photostable en las composiciones cosméticas y farmacéuticas para proteger la piel humana o el pelo humano contra rayos solares. Las combinaciones se utilizan opcionalmente junto con otros ingredientes absorbentes UV convencionales que se sepan por sí mismo para las composiciones cosméticas y farmacéuticas.
