The present invention is directed to an etchant/primer composition, an
etchant/primer/adhesive monomer composition, kits using the same and
methods using the same for improved bonding to dental structures. The
etchant/primer composition comprises a compound having the formula:
RN(CH.sub.2 YCO.sub.2 M).sub.2
wherein R=R.sup.1 or R.sup.2 ;
R.sup.1 =an aromatic group;
R.sup.2 =a conjugated unsaturated aliphatic group;
Y=a single bond, CH.sub.2, CHCH.sub.3 or C.dbd.CH.sub.2 ; and
each M is independently H, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal,
aluminum, a transition or redox metal or an alkyl group having 1 to 18
carbon atoms, with the proviso that when both M groups are alkyl groups,
said compound is capable of being easily hydrolyzed, displaced, or
exchanged with other reagents present in the etchant/primer composition, a
polar solvent system, and nitric acid. The etchant/primer/adhesive monomer
composition comprises a compound having the formula (I) as noted above, a
polar solvent system, an acid selected from the group consisting of nitric
acid, hydrochloric acid, citric acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, formic
acid, pyruvic acid and combinations thereof, and adhesive monomer resin,
and an initiator. The above-noted compositions are applied to dental
structures requiring dental restoration for improved bonding of adhesive
resins and polymers to dental structures.
De onderhavige uitvinding wordt geleid aan een etchant/inleidingssamenstelling, een etchant/primer/adhesive monomeersamenstelling, uitrustingen gebruikend het zelfde en de methodes gebruikend het zelfde voor het betere plakken aan tandstructuren. De etchant/inleidingssamenstelling bestaat uit een samenstelling die de formule hebben: RN(CH.sub.2 YCO.sub.2 M).sub.2 waarin R=R.sup.1 of R.sup.2; R.sup.1 = een aromatische groep; R.sup.2 = een vervoegde onverzadigde alifatische groep; De enige band van Y=a, CH.sub.2, CHCH.sub.3 of C.dbd.CH.sub.2; en elk M is onafhankelijk H, een alkalimetaal, een alkalische aardemetaal, aluminium, een overgang of een redoxmetaal of een alkyl groep die 1 tot 18 koolstofatomen heeft, op voorwaarde dat wanneer beide groepen van M alkyl groepen zijn, de bovengenoemde samenstelling gemakkelijk kan worden gehydroliseerd, verplaatst, of geruild met andere reagentia huidig in de etchant/inleidingssamenstelling, een polair oplosbaar systeem, en salpeterzuur. De etchant/primer/adhesive monomeersamenstelling bestaat uit een samenstelling die de formule (I) zoals hierboven genoteerd, een polair oplosbaar die systeem, een zuur uit de groep wordt geselecteerd heeft die uit salpeterzuur daarvan, en zelfklevende monomeerhars, en een initiatiefnemer bestaat, hydrochloric zuur, citroenzuur, melkzuur, glycolic zuur, mierezuur, pyruvic zuur en combinaties. De boven-nota genomen van samenstellingen worden aangebracht op tandstructuren die tandrestauratie voor het betere plakken van zelfklevende harsen en polymeren aan tandstructuren vereisen.
