A method for preparing a barium fluorotitanate (BaTiF.sub.6) powder and depositing a barium titanate (BaTiO.sub.3) thin film on a silicon wafer is disclosed. The method includes steps of a) producing a barium fluorotitanate powder by mixing a hexafluorotitanic acid solution and a barium nitrate solution at a low temperature, b) dissolving the barium fluorotitanate powder into water and mixing with a boric acid solution, and c) immersing a silicon wafer into the mixture at a low temperature to grow a barium titanate thin film on the silicon wafer.

Um método para preparar um pó do fluorotitanate do bário (BaTiF.sub.6) e depositar uma película fina do titanate do bário (BaTiO.sub.3) em um wafer de silicone é divulgado. O método inclui etapas de a) produzindo um pó do fluorotitanate do bário misturando uma solução ácida hexafluorotitanic e uma solução do nitrate do bário em uma temperatura baixa, b) dissolvendo o pó do fluorotitanate do bário na água e misturando com uma solução ácida boric, e c) immersing um wafer de silicone na mistura em uma temperatura baixa para crescer uma película fina do titanate do bário no wafer de silicone.
