The invention relates to a papermaking fabric and method of producing a soft, bulky tissue web in which an embryonic fiber web is wet-molded onto a three-dimensional substrate wherein the web-contacting surface of said substrate is a three-dimensional porous nonwoven material. The method can provide higher levels of bulk and surface depth in tissues than is practical with woven papermaking fabrics.

Die Erfindung bezieht auf einem Papierherstellunggewebe und einer Methode des Produzierens eines weichen, umfangreichen Gewebenetzes, in dem ein embryonales Fasernetz auf ein dreidimensionales Substrat nass-geformt wird, worin die Netz-in Verbindung tretende Oberfläche des besagten Substrates ein dreidimensionales poröses nichtgewebtes Material ist. Die Methode kann höhere Niveaus des Hauptteiles und der Oberfläche Tiefe in den Geweben, als zur Verfügung stellen praktisch mit gesponnenen Papierherstellunggeweben ist.
