Disclosed are sunscreen compositions comprising zinc oxide and at least one of an effective amount of carbomer and an effective amount of C.sub.10 to C.sub.30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymers. The compositions most preferably utilize an oil in water emulsion. Also disclosed are related processes for producing and using such compositions.

Onthuld worden de zonneschermsamenstellingen bestaand zink uit oxyde en minstens één van een efficiënte hoeveelheid carbomer en een efficiënte hoeveelheid C.sub.10 aan alkyl acrylate C.sub.30 crosspolymers. De samenstellingen gebruiken het liefst een olie in wateremulsie. Ook onthuld worden de verwante processen om dergelijke samenstellingen te veroorzaken en te gebruiken.
