This invention relates to a method for separating basic amino acids from fermentation broth comprising contacting the broth with strong acid cation exchange resins that have a low degree of cross-linkage and eluting the amino acid. The method described herein results in higher yield and higher purity of lysine, in addition to higher throughput, as compared to conventional processes of purification of lysine from fermentation broth.

Cette invention concerne une méthode pour séparer les acides aminés de base du bouillon de fermentation comportant entrant en contact avec le bouillon avec des résines acides fortes d'échange cationique qui ont un bas degré de réticulation et d'éluer l'acide aminé. La méthode a décrit ci-dessus des résultats dans un plus grand rendement et une plus grande pureté de lysine, en plus d'une sortie plus élevée, par rapport aux processus conventionnels de la purification de la lysine du bouillon de fermentation.
