A fragrance, having a 2-cyclohexyl-1,1-dimethyl ethanol derivative represented by formula (1), ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or an acetyl group, Me represents a methyl group and n represents an integer from 0 to 3, provides a very pleasing scent, has excellent stability in a product, and can be mixed well with other fragrances.

Una fragranza, facendo un derivato dell'etanolo 2-cyclohexyl-1,1-dimethyl rappresentare dalla formula (1), il ## in cui la R rappresenta un atomo dell'idrogeno o un gruppo dell'acetile, me del ## STR1 rappresenta un gruppo metilico e la n rappresenta un numero intero da 0 a 3, fornisce un profumo molto piacevole, ha stabilità eccellente in un prodotto e può essere mescolata bene con altre fragranze.
