The operating section (4b) of the lever-shaped change-over member (4) is arranged in such a manner that it can be pressed down by a finger of the angler's hand holding the fishing rod (15). The acting section (4c) extending forward in the recess (1d) is made to face the reverse rotation preventive claw (7) of the first reverse rotation preventive device (A), and the reverse rotation preventive claw (7) is made to face the first reverse rotation preventive ratchet (5). The reverse rotation preventive claw (9) operated by the spring (3) would round the outer circumference of the drive shaft (2a) of the drive gear (2) is made to face the second reverse rotation preventive ratchet (9) of the second reverse rotation preventive device (B).
