A .sup.99m Tc complex which contains the moiety Tc.dbd.NR, Tc--N.dbd.NY or Tc(--N.dbd.NY).sub.2, and as a synthetic organic ligand which confers biological target-seeking properties on the technetium complex, where: R is an aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or the group --NR.sup.1 R.sup.2 ; Y is an aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are H, aryl groups or substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic or cyclic alkyl groups, and are the same or different provided that both are not hydrogen; where at least one of the R or Y groups comprises an aryl group which chelates the .sup.99m Tc.

Un complesso del sup.99m TC che contiene la parte Tc.dbd.NR, TC -- N.dbd.NY o Tc(-- N.dbd.NY).sub.2 e come ligand organico sintetico che conferisce proprietà diricerca biologiche sul complesso di technetium, dove: La R è un gruppo arilico, un gruppo alchile sostituito o non sostituito o il gruppo -- NR.sup.1 R.sup.2; Y è un gruppo arilico o un gruppo alchile sostituito o non sostituito; R.sup.1 e R.sup.2 sono H, gruppi arilici o gruppo alchile alifatici o ciclici sostituiti o non sostituiti e sono gli stessi o differenti a condizione che entrambi non sono idrogeno; dove almeno uno dei gruppi di Y o della R contiene un gruppo arilico che chelata il sup.99m TC.
