Substituted imidazolidine derivatives of the formula I,

in which B, E, W, Y, R, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.30, e and h have the
meanings indicated in the claims. The compounds of the formula I are
valuable pharmaceutical active compounds, which are suitable, for example,
for the therapy and prophylaxis of inflammatory disorders, for example of
rheumatoid arthritis, or of allergic disorders. The compounds of the
formula I are inhibitors of the adhesion and migration of leucocytes
and/or antagonists of the adhesion receptor VLA-4 belonging to the
integrins group. They are generally suitable for the therapy or
prophylaxis of illnesses which are caused by an undesired extent of
leucocyte adhesion and/or leucocyte migration or are associated therewith,
or in which cell-cell or cell-matrix interactions which are based on
interactions of VLA-4 receptors with their ligands play a part. The
invention furthermore relates to processes for the preparation of the
compounds of the formula I, their use, in particular as pharmaceutical
active compounds, and pharmaceutical preparations which contain compounds
of the formula I.
Os derivatives substituídos do imidazolidine da fórmula I, o ## do ## STR1 em que B, E, W, Y, R, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.30, e e h têm os meanings indicaram nas reivindicações. Os compostos da fórmula I são os compostos ativos pharmaceutical valiosos, que são apropriados, para o exemplo, para a terapia e a profilaxia de disorders inflammatory, para o exemplo do arthritis rheumatoid, ou de disorders allergic. Os compostos da fórmula I são inibidores da adesão e da migração dos leucocytes e/ou antagonistas do receptor VLA-4 da adesão que pertence ao grupo dos integrins. São geralmente apropriados para a terapia ou a profilaxia das doenças que são causados por uma extensão indesejada da adesão do leucocyte e/ou da migração do leucocyte ou associados therewith, ou em os que interações da pilha-pilha ou da pilha-matriz que são baseadas em interações dos receptors VLA-4 com seus ligands faça uma parte. A invenção além disso relaciona-se aos processos para a preparação dos compostos da fórmula I, de seu uso, no detalhe como compostos ativos pharmaceutical, e das preparações pharmaceutical que contêm compostos da fórmula I.
