A polymerized toner of a core-shell structure, comprising colored polymer particles which contain a colorant, and a polymer layer which covers each of the colored polymer particles, wherein the polymerized toner has the following features: (a) the gel content being 60 to 95% as measured by an extraction method with tetrahydrofuran; (b) the melt index being 0.5 to 15 g/10 min as measured at 150.degree. C. and under a load of 2.16 kg; and (c) the spheroidicity represented by an average value of a ratio (rl/rs) of a length (rl) to a breadth (rs) being 1.0 to 1.2, and a production process thereof.

Ein polymerisierter Toner einer Kern-Oberteil Struktur, farbige Polymer-Plastik Partikel, die einen Farbstoff enthalten und eine Polymer-Plastik Schicht enthalten, die jeden der farbigen Polymer-Plastik Partikel umfaßt, worin der polymerisierte Toner die folgenden Eigenschaften hat: (a) der Gelinhalt, der 60 bis 95%, wie durch eine Extraktionmethode mit Tetrahydrofuran gemessen ist; (b) der Schmelzindex, der 0.5 bis 15 g/10 Minute gemessen an 150.degree ist-. C. und unter einer Last von 2.16 Kilogramm; und (c) das spheroidicity dargestellt durch einen Durchschnittswert eines Verhältnisses (rl/rs) einer Länge (rl) zu einer Breite (rs) seiend 1.0 bis 1.2 und ein Produktion Prozeß davon.
