B is hydroxy, alkoxy of 1-6 carbon atoms --CO.sub.2 Z, --O(CH.sub.2).sub.m
CO.sub.2 Z, --SO.sub.3 Z, --OPO.sub.3 Z.sub.2 ; and
Y is cyano,

wherein X.dbd.O or S, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently
H, benzyl, --CH(CH.sub.3)C.sub.6 H.sub.6,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.n C.sub.6 H.sub.6, phenyl; --CO.sub.2 R;
n=2-4; R is lower alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms;
m=1-4 and Z is H, a cation or lower alkyl of 1-6 cabon atoms; is used for
treating inflammation, immunological diseases or diabetes.
