A control/regulation device makes a forecast of the load state of the engine cooling system lying ahead, on the basis of a model that takes into consideration driving condition-relevant quantities and the thermal inertia of the engine cooling system and of engine load-relevant ambient conditions lying ahead, recorded by a satellite navigation system, and carries out a corresponding control/regulation of all heat flows in the motor vehicle, especially of the engine cooling system.

Eine Methode und eine Vorrichtung für das control/regulation der Wärmeflüsse verursacht von den Hitzegeneratoren und von den Hitzeverbrauchern in einem Kraftfahrzeug, mindestens auf der Grundlage von einen momentanen Last Zustand der Kraftfahrzeugmaschine und der momentanen Trägerbetriebsbedingung- und umgebendenbedingungen. Eine control/regulation Vorrichtung bildet eine Prognose vom Last Zustand des Maschine Kühlsystems, das voran, auf der Grundlage von ein Modell liegt, dem Nehmen in die Betrachtung, die Zustand-relevante Quantitäten fahren und in die thermische Schwungkraft des Maschine Kühlsystems und Maschine der Last-relevanten umgebenden Zustände, die voran, notiert durch eine Satellitennavigationsanlage liegen, und ein entsprechendes control/regulation aller Wärmeflüsse in das Kraftfahrzeug, besonders des Maschine Kühlsystems durchführt.
