The present invention relates to a process for the crystallization of carboxylic acid, more particularly adipic acid, and a process for manufacturing crystalline carboxylic acid, more specifically a process for treating the reaction medium resulting from the direct oxidation of a hydrocarbon into carboxylic acid such as adipic acid, for example. More specifically, the invention relates to the crystallization of adipic acid from an organic solvent, thus removing the organic impurities contained in the said acid and thus optionally facilitating its purification by a crystallization from water.

Die anwesende Erfindung bezieht auf einem Prozeß für die Kristallisation der karboxylhaltigen Säure, besonders der fettstoffenthaltenden Säure und des Prozesses für kristallene karboxylhaltige Säure, einen Prozeß spezifischer herstellen für das Behandeln des Reaktion Mittels, resultierend aus der direkten Oxidation eines Kohlenwasserstoffs in karboxylhaltige Säure wie fettstoffenthaltende Säure, z.B.. Spezifischer, bezieht entfernt die Erfindung auf der Kristallisation der fettstoffenthaltenden Säure von einem organischen Lösungsmittel, so die organischen Verunreinigungen, die in der besagten Säure enthalten werden und folglich beliebig erleichtert seine Reinigung durch eine Kristallisation vom Wasser.
