This invention provides new methods and compounds for controlling the intracellular and physiological effects of steroid hormones, including but not limited to estrogen, through modulation of the interaction of such hormone receptors with phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase. Compounds and methods for controlling the activation of endotbelial nitric oxide synthase are also disclosed.

Deze uitvinding verstrekt nieuwe methodes en samenstellingen voor het controleren van de intracellular en fysiologische gevolgen die van steroid hormonen, maar niet omvatten die tot oestrogeen, door modulatie van de interactie van dergelijke hormoonreceptoren worden beperkt met kinase phosphatidylinositol-3. De samenstellingen en de methodes om de activering van endotbelial salpeteroxydesynthase te controleren worden ook onthuld.
