A fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell stack and a fuel reformer for reforming a fuel and supplying a reformed fuel to the fuel cell stack, further comprising a total enthalpy heat exchanger for exchanging heat and moisture between a reacted gas and an unreacted gas from the fuel cell stack, a separator for separating moisture from the fuel gas fed from the fuel cell stack or from an oxidant gas, and a mixer for mixing part of the moisture separated by the separator with a medium having a freezing point of 0.degree. C. or less.

Un sistema delle cellule di combustibile che contiene una pila delle cellule di combustibile e un reformer del combustibile per la riforma del combustibile ed assicurare un combustibile riformato alla pila delle cellule di combustibile, comprendenti inoltre uno scambiatore di calore totale di entalpia per lo scambio del calore e l'umidità fra un gas reagito e un gas unreacted dalla pila delle cellule di combustibile, un separatore per la separazione dell'umidità dal fed del gas di combustibile dalla pila delle cellule di combustibile o da un gas dell'ossidante e un miscelatore per la parte di miscelazione dell'umidità ha separato dal separatore con un mezzo che ha un punto di congelazione di 0.degree.
