A first heat-sensitive microcapsule of the present invention comprises a shell wall and a liquid coloring composition, and has such a temperature-breaking characteristic that the shell wall is broken by heating to a temperature equal to or higher than a boiling point of the liquid coloring composition. The first heat-sensitive microcapsule is stable to light and easy to handle. A second heat-sensitive microcapsule of the present invention comprises a shell wall, a coloring composition and a heat decomposition-type gas-developing agent, and has such a temperature-breaking characteristic that the shell wall is broken by heating to a temperature equal to or higher than a decomposition temperature of the gas-developing agent. The second heat-sensitive microcapsule can be sensitively broken even by heating in a short time. A heat-sensitive recording medium comprising the first or second heat-sensitive microcapsule provides substantially no waste products after recording, is easy to handle, and capable of economically recording an image with ease.

Eine erste hitzeempfindliche Mikrokapsel der anwesenden Erfindung enthält eine Oberteilwand und einen flüssigen Farbtonaufbau und hat solch eine Temperatur-brechende Eigenschaft, daß die Oberteilwand defekt ist, indem sie zu einer Temperatur heizt, die oder stark als ein Siedepunkt des flüssigen Farbtonaufbaus gleich ist. Die erste hitzeempfindliche Mikrokapsel ist beständig zu beleuchten und einfach anzufassen. Eine zweite hitzeempfindliche Mikrokapsel der anwesenden Erfindung enthält eine Oberteilwand, einen Farbtonaufbau und eine Hitze Aufspaltung-Art Gas-entwickelndes Mittel und hat solch eine Temperatur-brechende Eigenschaft, daß die Oberteilwand defekt ist, indem sie zu einer Temperatur heizt, die oder stark als eine Aufspaltungtemperatur des Gas-entwickelnden Mittels gleich ist. Die zweite hitzeempfindliche Mikrokapsel kann empfindlich gebrochen werden, sogar durch das Heizen in einer kurzen Zeit. Ein hitzeempfindliches Aufnahmemittel, das das erste enthalten oder an zweiter Stelle hitzeempfindliche Mikrokapsel liefert im wesentlichen keine Abfallprodukte, nachdem sie notiert haben, ist einfach anzufassen, und fähig zu ein Bild mit Mühelosigkeit ökonomisch notieren.
