The object of the invention is a method for collecting data from users of terminals connected to a data network, through the said data network utilizing the terminals, by presenting to the users of the terminals one or more questions included in the questions of the inquiry. With the method according to the invention, the disturbance level directed to the user of the terminal is kept as low as possible by defining the maximum number of the questions to be answered by a single respondent. For each question is computed on the basis of the received answers at least one statistical characteristic after one or more answers given to the question. The selection of the questions to be presented can be based at least partly to the said statistical characteristics.

L'oggetto dell'invenzione è un metodo per la raccolta dei dati dagli utenti dei terminali collegati ad una rete di trasmissione di dati, attraverso la rete di trasmissione di dati detta che utilizza i terminali, presentando agli utenti dei terminali una o più domande incluse nelle domande dell'inchiesta. Con il metodo secondo l'invenzione, il livello di dispersione diretto verso l'utente del terminale è mantenuto basso come possibile definendo il numero massimo delle domande da rispondere a da un singolo dichiarante. Per ogni domanda è computato in base alle risposte ricevute almeno una caratteristica statistica dopo una o più risposte date alla domanda. La selezione delle domande da presentare può essere basata almeno parzialmente alle caratteristiche statistiche dette.
