A cyclic diamine compound of formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are individually a hydrogen atom or a methoxy group, provided R.sup.1 is a methoxy group when R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom, or a hydrogen atom when R.sup.2 is a methoxy group; A is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, CH.dbd.CH, CH.dbd.N or NR.sup.3, in which R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom, or a lower alkyl, hydroxy lower alkyl, lower alkoxy lower alkyl, aryl or aryl lower alkyl group; B is a nitrogen atom, CH or CR.sup.4, in which R.sup.4 is a hydrogen atom, or a lower alkyl, hydroxy lower alkyl, lower alkoxy lower alkyl, aryl or aryl lower alkyl group; m is 1 or 2; and n is a number of 1 to 5, an acid-addition salt thereof, or a hydrate thereof. The compound has inhibitory effects on cell adhesion and is useful for treatment of allergy, asthma, rheumatism, arteriosclerosis, and inflammation.

Ein zyklisches Diaminmittel von Formel (1): ## STR1 ## worin R.sup.1 und R.sup.2 einzeln ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Methoxygruppe sind, vorausgesetzt R.sup.1 eine Methoxygruppe ist, wenn R.sup.2 ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein Wasserstoffatom ist, wenn R.sup.2 eine Methoxygruppe ist; A ist ein Sauerstoffatom, ein Schwefelatom, CH.dbd.CH, CH.dbd.N oder NR.sup.3, in denen R.sup.3 ein Wasserstoffatom ist, oder ein untereres Alkyl, Hydroxyl- untereres Alkyl, untereres alkoxy untereres Alkyl, Aryl oder Aryl- unterere Alkylgruppe; B ist ein Stickstoffatom, CH oder CR.sup.4, in denen R.sup.4 ein Wasserstoffatom ist, oder ein untereres Alkyl, Hydroxyl- untereres Alkyl, untereres alkoxy untereres Alkyl, Aryl oder Aryl- unterere Alkylgruppe; m ist 1 oder 2; und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis von 5, von einem Säure-Hinzufügung Salz davon oder von einem Hydrat davon. Das Mittel hat hemmende Effekte auf Zelle Adhäsion und ist für Behandlung der Allergie, des Asthmas, des Rheumatism, der Arteriosklerose und der Entzündung nützlich.
