A solar cell using a ferroelectric material(s) is provided with a ferroelectric layer at the front surface or the rear surface thereof, or at the front and the rear surfaces thereof. The ferroelectric layer is formed with a ferroelectric material such as BaTiO.sub.3, BST((Ba,Sr)TiO.sub.3), PZT((Pb,Zr)TiO.sub.3) and SBT(SrBi.sub.2 Ta.sub.2 O.sub.7).

Una pila solare che usando un material(s) ferroelectric è fornita di uno strato ferroelectric alla superficie anteriore o alla superficie posteriore di ciò, o alla parte anteriore ed alle superfici posteriori di ciò. Lo strato ferroelectric è formato con un materiale ferroelectric quali BaTiO.sub.3, BST((Ba, Sr)TiO.sub.3), PZT((Pb, Zr)TiO.sub.3) e SBT(SrBi.sub.2 Ta.sub.2 O.sub.7).
