The present invention provides novel polynucleotides encoding MP-1 polypeptides, fragments and homologues thereof. Also provided are vectors, host cells, antibodies, and recombinant and synthetic methods for producing said polypeptides. The invention further relates to diagnostic and therapeutic methods for applying these novel MP-1 polypeptides to the diagnosis, treatment, and/or prevention of various diseases and/or disorders related to these polypeptides. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of the polynucleotides and polypeptides of the present invention.

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση παρέχει νέα polynucleotides που κωδικοποιούν polypeptides βουλευτής-1, τα τεμάχια και τα ομόλογα επ' αυτού. Επίσης υπό τον όρο ότι είναι διανύσματα, κύτταρα οικοδεσποτών, αντισώματα, και ανασυνδυαζόμενες και συνθετικές μέθοδοι για εν λόγω polypeptides. Η εφεύρεση αφορά περαιτέρω τις διαγνωστικές και θεραπευτικές μεθόδους για αυτά τα νέα polypeptides βουλευτής-1 στη διάγνωση, τη θεραπεία, ή/και την πρόληψη των διάφορων ασθενειών ή/και των αναταραχών σχετικών με αυτά τα polypeptides. Η εφεύρεση αφορά περαιτέρω τις μεθόδους διαλογής για τους αγωνιστές και τους αντιπάλους polynucleotides και polypeptides της παρούσας εφεύρεσης.
