The present invention provides compositions and methods which can provide a pesticidal effect. The compositions typically comprise 4-phenoxyphenyl 2-(2-pyridyloxy)propyl ether and an ether compound encompassed by formula I: ##STR1## wherein R represents a methyl group or ethyl group. The methods comprise applying a pesticidally effective amount of the composition to a pest of a habitat of a pest.
