A method for creating a graphical user interface. The method includes the steps of sizing and locating a process window, which is created by an application. The method creates a graphical representation of the process window and associates information with the process window. The process window is embedded into a background image, creating an embedded process window. Activity with regards to the process window is then monitored, where the activity will indicate that the embedded process window is to become an active window.

Eine Methode für das Verursachen einer graphischen Benutzerschnittstelle. Die Methode schließt die Schritte von Sizing und von Lokalisieren eines Prozeßfensters ein, das durch eine Anwendung hergestellt wird. Die Methode verursacht eine graphische Darstellung des Prozeßfensters und verbindet Informationen mit dem Prozeßfenster. Das Prozeßfenster wird in einen Hintergrund eingebettet und stellt ein eingebettetes Prozeßfenster her. Tätigkeit in bezug auf das Prozeßfenster wird dann überwacht, wo die Tätigkeit anzeigt, daß das eingebettete Prozeßfenster ein aktives Fenster werden soll.
