A method for dry-cleaning garments which comprises treating the garments
with a mixture of dipropylene glycol tertiary-butyl ether (DPTB) and water
for a period of time sufficient to effect dry-cleaning, wherein the weight
ratio of DPTB to water is at least 9:1.
