The invention is a method of polymerization comprising contacting the
components of the polymerizable composition of
a) an organoborane/amine complex wherein the amine is selected from the
group of amines having an amidine structural component; aliphatic
heterocycles having at least one nitrogen in the heterocyclic ring; an
alicyclic compound having bound to the ring a substituent having an amine
moiety; primary amines which in addition to a primary amine have one or
more hydrogen bond accepting groups of an ether, polyether, thioether or
halogen wherein there is an alkylene chain of at least two carbon atoms
between the primary amine and the hydrogen bond accepting group; and
conjugated imines;
b) one or more of monomers, oligomers or polymers having olefinic
unsaturation; and
c) in the presence of an effective amount of a compound which causes the
complex to disassociate or at a temperature at which causes the complex to
disassociate.
L'invention est une méthode de polymérisation comportant entrant en contact avec les composants de composition polymerizable a) d'un complexe d'organoborane/amine où l'amine est choisie parmi le groupe d'amines ayant un composant structural d'amidine ; heterocycles aliphatiques ayant au moins un azote dans l'anneau hétérocyclique ; un composé alicyclique ayant lié à l'anneau un substituant ayant une partie d'amine ; amines primaires qui en plus d'une amine primaire ont un ou plusieurs l'obligation d'hydrogène acceptant des groupes d'un éther, d'un polyéther, d'un thioether ou d'un halogène où il y a une chaîne d'alkylène au moins de deux atomes de carbone entre l'amine primaire et l'obligation d'hydrogène acceptant le groupe ; et imines conjuguées ; b) un ou plusieurs de monomères, d'oligomères ou de polymères ayant la non-saturation oléfinique ; et c) en présence d'une quantité efficace d'un composé qui cause le complexe à dissocié ou à une température à laquelle cause le complexe à dissocié.
